The Informatics Platform

The Informatics Platform is a technological infrastructure to facilitate the storage, management, analysis, and dissemination of data and information generated and used by the centre.

Our responsibilities are: 

  • Data infrastructure: Storing, organising, and managing data, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security 
  • Data integration: Integrating data from multiple sources and formats to create a unified and comprehensive dataset for analysis and decision-making 
  • Workflow automation: Streamlining and automating processes and workflows related to data management, analysis, and reporting, to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Data science: Providing tools and capabilities for analysing data, deriving insights, and presenting and visualising findings 
  • User training and support: Providing training and support for users to effectively utilise the informatics platform, including technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance on best practices 
  • Compliance and regulatory adherence: Ensuring adherence to relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to data management, privacy, and security 
     

Objectives:

  • Standardise, automate and accelerate data processes and analyses
  • Improve data findability, accessibility, interoperability, (re)usability
  • Build an industry level platform that covers the entire data lifecycle from raw data to insights
