The AES 136th Convention in Berlin has been highly fruitful for me. My paper: ”Small-signal loudspeaker impedance emulator” was indeed very well received.
Actually so very well, that on the opening ceremony day on 26 April I was invited onto the stage to receive the “Best Student Technical Paper Award” for my paper granted by the AES organization’s Papers’ Co-chairmen: Mr. Brett Leonard and Mr. Thomas Sporer. I received a diploma and got to shake hands with the President of the AES organization Mr. Sean Olive. That was all in all a very exciting experience!
On Monday 28 April I presented my project – and the participants were very interested in this. The audience gave me good questions and comments.
During the convention I participated in several exciting presentations, arrangements and demonstrations. Furthermore, I met a lot of interesting people with competences within audio – and through the discussions and exchanges of opinions I feel that I have learned a lot on this trip.
