Yury defended with success his PhD-thesis "Catalytic aerobic oxidation of bio-renewable chemicals" performed at CSC with Assoc. Prof. Anders Riisager as supervisor and Prof. John Woodley (DTU Chemical Engineering) as co-supervisor. The assessment committee members (Prof. Jan-Dierk Grunwaldt, KIT, Germany; Research scientist Konrad Herbst, Haldor Topsøe; Ass. Prof. Peter Fristrup, DTU Chemistry) recommended unanimiously that Yury was rewarded the PhD degree from DTU. All the best to Yury with his forthcoming post doc position in Portugal.
