Professor Poul L. Bjerg presented the Ineson lecturer, 17th of October at the Geological Society in the historical setting at Burlington house, Picadilly, London.
The Ineson lecture is the flagship annual event for the British national chapter of The International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH), which is a professional, non-governmental organisation for groundwater specialists.
The lecture is held in conjunction with the Hydro group of the Geological Society. The lecture features a keynote speaker of international standing, supported by speakers and poster presentations from around UK.
