On 15 May 2014 the “Ingeniøren” ran an article about the VHF power converter research in our Electronics Group by Mickey P. Madsen, Jakob D. Mønster, Thomas Andersen, Jeppe A. Pedersen, Lars P. Petersen, and Regnar I. Paaske.
The article describes the innovative technology and the benefits the VHF power converter research offers, e.g. smaller size and weight, reduced costs, and extended lifespan.
The article also mentions positive feedback from the industry and the plan of spinning-out the technology into a new start-up company.
A few days thereafter, the team behind Nordic Power Converters was contacted by "DR2 Morgen” from the Danish television station Danmarks Radio who wanted to bring a live interview on the morning of the DTU Cleantech Bazar on 22 May 2014.
The interview with Mickey P. Madsen and Regnar I. Paaske mainly focused on the start-up plans and the environment for upcoming start-up companies both at DTU and in Denmark in general.
