The Informatics Unit consists of a multi-disciplinary team with diverse specialities in software, computational biology and data engineering. The team is geographically dispersed between the University of California San Diego (UCSD) and Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
Our mission is to develop systems that turn big data into knowledge utilizing artificial intelligence, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and knowledge graphs. With these systems, we can establish deep insights for humans and machines, augmenting their ability in solving some of our world's greatest challenges for a healthier and sustainable future.
