This program identifies and produces commercially viable molecules in microbial cell factories at small-scale. The goal is a portfolio of commercially viable, high value, sustainable bio-chemicals for commodity goods, agricultural uses and drugs.

Natural Products

This program develops tools for cell factories to produce plant or fungal natural products. The natural products will include natural food colours, anti-fungal therapeutics and pesticides, as well as plant-derived therapeutics.
